VERONICA G. WILLIAMS

Enough is Enough

I’m Veronica Williams — a U.S. Navy Veteran, licensed mental health therapist, and proud grandmother. I am taking the necessary steps to run as an Independent candidate to represent Texas’s 23rd Congressional District, because I believe enough is enough.

Enough of the Division

For too long, Americans have been pitted against one another while the real beneficiaries of our discord profit from our struggles. This is not a battle between left and right — it is a struggle between those who serve their own interests and those who serve the people. It is time to bring unity, integrity, and common sense back to public service.

Enough of the Corruption

Hardworking Texans deserve leaders who answer to them, not to wealthy donors or corporate lobbyists. Too many in Washington have traded the public’s trust for campaign contributions, passing laws that burden working families and mortgage our children’s future. That must end now.

Enough of an Economy that Leaves Families Behind

The economy as it stands does not work for the waitress in Uvalde, the veteran in San Antonio or El Paso, or the family farm in Hondo. Too many people work multiple jobs yet can’t afford a home. Too many students excel in school but can’t afford college. Too many families must choose between medical care and the mortgage. This is not the American Dream — it is a betrayal of it.

I am not running merely against something — I am running for something.

I am running for the mother who lies awake at night worrying about her child’s medicine.

For the young couple doing everything right but still unable to buy a home.

For the veterans and service members who feel forgotten by the country they served.

And for our children and grandchildren, whose future is being eroded by debt, division, and endless conflict.

Those in power may have armies of lobbyists and billionaire-backed super PACs.

But we have something far stronger: integrity, unity, and the will of the people.

This campaign is more than a movement — it is a call to action. Together, we will build a Texas, and an America, where hard work is rewarded, families are secure, and every citizen’s voice is heard.

The peace, prosperity, and stability of our communities depend on what we do now — right here, and right now.

Join me. Together, we can restore trust, renew opportunity, and reclaim our democracy — because enough is enough.
